Casio and RSL Group Partner to Expand Keyboard Education Across India

Casio and RSL Group have announced a strategic partnership to expand keyboard education across India, introducing co-branded learning books and nationwide teacher workshops. The initiative aims to reach over 150,000 music enthusiasts and 1,000 teachers in three years.

RSL Group and Casio have announced a strategic partnership to strengthen keyboard education across India, combining RSL’s expertise in contemporary music education with Casio’s global leadership in musical instrument manufacturing. The collaboration will introduce new learning resources and professional development opportunities for music educators nationwide, with a focus on making contemporary keyboard and piano education more accessible.

The partnership will begin with two key initiatives: the development of co-branded keyboard and piano learning resources and a nationwide programme of teacher workshops designed to help educators confidently teach contemporary keyboard and popular music styles.

Over the next three years, the initiative aims to directly reach more than 150,000 music enthusiasts across India and over 1,000 music teachers, with plans to significantly expand its reach and foster a shared culture of music learning.

As part of the collaboration, RSL Group and Casio will jointly develop three physical learning method books, supported by interactive digital lesson content featuring Casio instruments.

The collection will include a Beginner Piano Method Book, a Beginner Keyboard Method Book and an Advanced Keyboard Method Book. For beginners, the partnership will feature Casio’s Slim & Smart keyboard range, designed to support accessible and beginner-friendly learning. As learners progress, standard and Indian series keyboards will help them develop core musical fundamentals. Casio’s premium Digital Piano lineup will cater to advanced learners, performers and professionals.

Alongside the learning resources, RSL Group and Casio will launch a nationwide teacher development workshop programme commencing in 2026.

The workshops will be delivered by experienced RSL trainers from India and the UK, focusing on helping music educators overcome common barriers to teaching keyboard and popular music styles. The sessions will cover practical teaching techniques, learner engagement, contemporary repertoire and approaches to developing creativity through keyboard learning.

The programme is intended to support teachers at every stage of their professional journey, helping them build confidence and deliver engaging and relevant keyboard education for today’s learners.

The workshops will be conducted across major cities with significant interest in music, including Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Guwahati, Aizawl, Dimapur, Kochi, Madurai and Trichy.

Tim Bennett-Hart, CEO of RSL Group, said the partnership presented an opportunity to expand access to high-quality music education across India.

“This partnership represents an exciting opportunity to expand access to high-quality music education across India. By combining RSL’s educational expertise with Casio’s leadership in music technology, we’re creating new opportunities for both learners and teachers through innovative resources and professional development. “Through this partnership, we’re combining innovative learning materials with hands-on professional development to help educators build confidence and inspire more learners through keyboard education. It’s a fantastic opportunity to create meaningful impact in communities across the country,” Gohain said.
